Crowne Plaza Lake Placid By Ihg, Lake Placid

The Crowne Plaza offers stunning views of the Adirondacks, especially from its elevated location. While the rooms are spacious and well-appointed, we encountered some challenges with the door keys and a lack of room service. The on-site restaurant boasts excellent dining with breathtaking views but has strict policies regarding outside food. Overall, it was a great experience, although the steep hill could be a hurdle for some guests.

My stay at the hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were comfortable and offered stunning views of the surrounding area, especially with the snow adding a magical touch. The staff was attentive and went out of their way to assist me, which made my stay even better. However, I did find the gym facilities to be quite basic and could use some improvement. The breakfast buffet was impressive but could benefit from a bit of variety over longer stays.
